The four horsemen of the apocalypse are war, death, pestilence, and famine. The four horsemen of the apocalypse were painted in 1497–98 by Albrecht Durer.
1 The four horsemen of the apocalypse are described in 8 verses in revelation. This piece was created for an image of what Albrecht Durer beleived what would happen in the apocalypse.
2 The White rider is referred to as conquest the name could also be as "Victory," he carries a bow and where's a victory crown.
3 The red horseman is the color of blood. He is well known for causing war. He causes people to start war to others and people.
4 The third horseman rides a black horse and is generally understood as Famine. The horseman carries a pair of balances or weighing scales, indicating the way that bread would have been weighed during a famine.
5 The fourth and final horseman is named Death. Of all the riders, he is the only one to whom the text itself explicitly gives a name. Unlike the other three, he is not described carrying a weapon/object, instead he is followed by Hades.

The Four Horseman were created by Albrecht Durer because this is how he believed the world would end. Many people create their own works off of the original piece. The people that usually belive in the apocalypse are now trying to predict when the world would come to an apocalypse. Others most likely just like the piece and do their own version and don't believe the world will end.
